Percy felt guilty. He shouldn't be stealing a police officer's horse. He really shouldn't. But was there another way?

His hands gently stroked the back of the stallions neck, but he was lost in thought. Annabeth lost, Nico dead, the Gods in battle with Kronus who had gained a much stronger body, Luke on the run with Thalia as captive ... and Grover ... no one knew where he was.
He swung him self on horse back in one swift move, his feelings of guilt replaced by a deep sadness and fiery anger.
The battle had to end. And he was the only one who could end it.

With a will of steel, Percy spurred the horse into action. It galloped toward the battlefield as fast as it could. But even moving at top speed, Percy realized that he was still going too slowly. There was no way he'd be able to reach Kronos on time...

Kronos. Lord of Time.
The world moves in slow motion as a thousand facts suddenly fall into place.
Time.
He jerks the reins of the horse and it skids to an abrupt stop. What sort of police officer would have a horse in the current century?
